Aether Arts Aether Argent is the first perfume in the Aether Series, a series of perfumes that explores ozonic and marine scents. Aether Argent is inspired by the stratosphere.
Aether Argent opens as cool and refreshing muddled mint leaves in sparkling water. It’s effervescent. Aether Argent becomes a crystal clear mineral water with an evergreen sprig and herbal ice cubes. The dry-down is an abstract floral clean musk (it wears like this for much of the wear).
This is one of those sheer, unobtrusive fragrance. I’m sure it’s good in summer or for those looking for a “day” fragrance that won’t suffocate co-workers. It’s one of those “anti-perfume” perfumes.
Notes listed include mint, coriander, silver fir, petitgrain, rosemary, Kenya lily, African violet, pear, watermelon, musk, frankicense, galbanum, seaweed and Virginia cedar. Launch date 2013. PERFUMER – Amber Jobin
Give Aether Arts a try if you like ozonic/fresh scents. Or if you like perfumes like HEELEY Menthe Fraiche, Il Profumo Aria di Mare, Serge Lutens L’eau Serge Lutens, NEST Moss & Mint and/or Cartier Pasha. Aether Argent is unisex.
Projection is below average and longevity is above average because of the musks. It’s one of those that wears closely and lasts a long time. And for a mint-centric fragrance, it’s long-lasting.
The 5.5 ml (.19 oz) retails for $49 at Aether Arts. Other sizes and samples are available for purchase.
Victoria’s Final EauPINION – Cool, minty white musk.I think it’s a good fragrance because the mint doesn’t fade immediately. I know it’s a handmade indie fragrance and I get all of that, but the price for the size of the bottle will deter many people.
