A Beautiful Life Crush’d EDP Perfume Review

ABL Crush'd Perfume

I really don’t think that one can go wrong when it comes to a combo of orange and vanilla. Orange creamsicle perfumes make me happy. A Beautiful Life (or ABL) Crush’d is one of these oh, so happy orange and vanilla blends. Bonus. I can’t read/see the name without thinking of Krush Groove. DOUBLE WHAMMY OF HAPPINESS.

Crush’d is a blood orange creamsicle and then it turns into blood orange toasted marshmallows. It’s juicy and creamy. And yes, it’s sweet. I find that the tonka in this is what makes it different than other orange/vanilla perfumes. It adds a toasted quality. The fragrance is linear and wears the same for most of the wear. However, with the dry-down the scent becomes more like toasted marshmallows (no citrus).

Notes listed include blood orange, vanilla, tonka bean, ylang ylang and sandalwood.

Give Crush’d a try if you are looking for an orange cream perfume. Or if you like perfumes like Smell Bent Sunshine, Sarah Horowitz Perfumes Perfect Vanilla, Esscentual Alchemy Orange Cream, and/or By Kilian Sweet Redemption. It’s a sweet, creamy orange so I view it as unisex.

Projection and longevity are average.

Also, I featured this fragrance in my Orange Cream Pop Perfume Guide.

The 2 oz bottle retails for $52 at A Beautiful Life.

Victoria’s Final EauPINIONJuicy and creamy orange creamsicle. The tonka and sandalwood really add a decadent richness to this creamsicle.
