Time for another Hitchcock gal look! Other than the hair, Suzanne’s look is modern looking. This 1960’s look is very neutral with glowing complexion. Because this is a “natural” look, it works for everyone. Here’s what I did to get this Suzanne Pleshette inspired look:
FACE: I applied Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Light with my fingers. With a foundation brush, I applied Lancôme Absolue Makeup in Ecru 10. With a concealer brush, I applied Covergirl Simply Ageless Concealer in Corrector to cover up dark circles. It’s allergy season 🙁 With a powder brush I applied Cover FX Setting Powder in Translucent. With a smaller sized blush brush, I applied Clarins Bronzing Powder in Golden Sun, a medium warm bronzer with gold shimmer. I brushed the bronzer below my cheek bones.
EYES: Suzanne’s brows are naturally beautiful. I set my brows with Smashbox Brow Tech Wax. For the eyes, I am using NYX Eyeshadow Trio in TS03. With a large shadow brush, I applied Nude, a satin cream, from lash line to brows. From lash line to crease, I applied with a medium sized shadow brush, Dark Brown, more of a medium matte brown. I closely lined top lash line with NYX Slim Eye Pencil in Dark Brown to “thicken” the lash line. I curled lashes and applied a coat of Clinique Lash Doubling Mascara in Black (not pictured). I then applied a half set of Ardell Fashion Lashes.
LIPS: Lips are a pretty nude shade. I applied directly from the tube VS Perfect Lipstick in Whisper, a pearly nude shade. On the bottom lip, in the center, I pressed on a bit of my loose powder to mattify.
As for fragrance, I’m totally being influenced by the lime green background and hope for better weather. I’d like to top this look off with Calyx.
If you celebrate Easter, I hope you have a wonderful one! I’m excited because tomorrow is supposed to be in the mid-60’s and sunny. I need it after all the crummy weather we’ve been having.
