    Question of the Week – Do you think cosmetic ads should have a disclaimer if they use excessive photoshop, false lashes and such?

    EauMG’s Answer: Absolutely. As a blogger, I have to have a disclaimer for everything. It kills me that brands and classic printed media do not. It infuriates me to no end to see a mascara ad and the model is wearing falsies and photoshop. I’m not saying photoshop should be banned in ALL advertising but there needs to be a BIG disclaimer for all to see. I’m also infuriated to see anti-aging ads where the model is 18 years old…and photoshopped. This type of dishonesty is exactly why I read blogs and reviews.
