  Mistral Balinese Vanilla perfume is a rich, creamy, woody oriental fragrance with spices, resins, and woods. Oh, and lots of vanilla. This fragrance is inspired by exotic Indonesian spice markets. Balinese Vanilla is a vanilla fragrance, but it is spicier than most. I think of it as more of a spice fragrance with vanilla than a vanilla fragrance with spice.

  Ineke Evening Edged in Gold is the 4th fragrance in Ineke’s Alphabetical Perfume Series.  Evening Edged in Gold is an easy to wear (modern) floral oriental perfume. I chose Ineke Evening Edged in Gold as my “gold” choice in We Three Kings because it is a gilded floral. It’s elegant but relaxed. It seems like a fragrance that is meant to be worn to holiday parties.

• Annick Goutal Musc Nomade EDP Fragrance Review

  This is the 4th essence in the Les Orientalistes collection. This Annick Goutal collection is inspired by musk and rose loving Qatar princesses, an “Orientalist” collection. The cool thing about this scent is that it lacks “top notes”. It also doesn’t get its muskiness from direct animal sources. Lately, I’ve been smitten by musky ambrette seed and other “musk” plant sources. I’ve been craving “soft” scents. Musc Nomade is the ultimate soft musk scent. It is my favorite “soft musk” perfume.

  Smell Bent Never Never Land is a fragrance featured in the Leisure Cruise Collection, a collection that takes our sniffers around the world. Never Never Land is inspired by the vast Australian Outback. It’s a resiny, balsamic woodsy unisex fragrance heavy on amber.
