  I love Guerlain but I’ve never been interested in The Voyage Collection. I don’t know why. Maybe it’s their size and price point that keeps me from trying them. *I seriously do not want 8.3 oz. of any perfume. But, I do want about 1.7 oz of Guerlain Paris-Moscow or Moscou, whatever it is called.

  At one time in my life I really enjoyed i Profumi di Firenze Vaniglia del Madagascar. Now I don’t. It’s not the memories associated with the fragrance or the fact that my tastes have expanded. There’s just something about Vaniglia del Madagascar that doesn’t work for me anymore.

  Costamor is a line inspired by the smells of Costa Rica. At first sniff, you know that Dulcess is based on a dessert of some kind. The kind of dessert that a little girl tastes and never forgets, trying for years to replicate that recipe but always feeling like it is not the same as they remember.

  I mentioned in my best of 2011 post that the Tommi Sooni line is the luxury perfume line to try in 2012. This line has mastered the art of “modern classics”. The scents seem familiar (they are based on classic chypre formulas, etc.) but the scents are updated and perfected.
