By Kilian Love (Don’t Be Shy) EDP Perfume Review

Kilian Love

Marshmallows are the most disappointing dessert. When international friends visit, they always want to try this exotic fluffy cube of sugar¹. As a good friend, it’s my job to tell them that they’ll be disappointed. Then I remember that life is full of disappointments. If they have made it this far, they can handle being disappointed by a boring sweet. I go find them marshmallows, they eat them and always go “That’s it? That’s not even good”. I nod my head in agreement and always a shoot a look… Continue reading | 6 Comments

Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium EDP Perfume Review

YSL Black Opium

Mainstream Monday: Sniffing a Popular Perfume

It feels so cliché to be another perfume blogger that complains about a flanker of a classic perfume that’s geared to young’uns, but I can’t help it. Tauerville Rose Flash perfume

ROSE WEEK 2017 – A Gourmand Rose

Tauer Tauerville Rose Flash has been a popular request on EauMG. You guys know I love rose, so those that have tried it have said it would be something I would like. Here I am in 2017 finally reviewing this rose in Andy Tauer’s boutique label, Tauerville.

Huitieme Art Myrrhiad EDP Perfume Review

Huitieme Art Myrrhiad

I purchased samples of all the perfumes that I could find with a red liquid. this resulted in me having a nice collection of myrrh-centric perfume samples. You can’t tell it because the bottles are beautiful opaque porcelain, but Huitième Art Myrrhiad is a red perfume.

Myrrhiad opens with black licorice candies rolled in powdered sugar. What always surprises me about Myrrhiad is how gourmand it is… Continue reading | 7 Comments

The People of the Labyrinths Luctor et Emergo EDP Perfume Review

Luctor et Emergo perfume

The People of the Labyrinths Luctor et Emergo is now a niche cult classic. Launched in the late 1990’s, this fruity, boozy scent really paved the way for numerous niche perfumes launched in the early ’00s, as well as mainstream perfumes launched in the past 5 years. It’s an unusual perfume that has stood the test of time. It’s something that I hope doesn’t get ignored, especially in an era when everyone and their mother, brother and third grade teacher are launching niche perfume brands (and getting bought… Continue reading | 11 Comments
