I went nuts buying clothes so I tried to restrict myself on the beauty purchases. I ran out of cleanser so I bought Glyderm Gentle Cleanser and Lalun Naturals Winter Rose Oil Cleanser. Here’s the damage I did in October. I bought like $40 of stuff at a Harlem hair supply store. I also bought too much Colourpop because I was on the hunt for the perfect terracotta lipstick. And I found it with Mama .But, I wish more than anything it wasn’t a liquid lip formula. Those are so drying and I’m over them. Why do they keep making all the cool colors in these inferior formulas?!
Well, September is over. It was a busy month for me filled with getting back into the school groove and a trip to Mexico.
I was really bad and bought a ton of Korean skincare this month (image at the end of post). This was my reaction to stress. I also ran out of some of Garden of Wisdom products and made an order. Their website is confusing but the products that I’ve bought have been great (cleansers, serums and hyrdosols).

I’m trying out and reviewing their Clarity Brightening Cleansing Bar:
The claims: This all-natural bar soap is said to “lift impurities, brighten dull skin, reduce hyper-pigmentation while boosting alertness”. It’s a bar soap with 38 different plant extracts, over two dozen said to “brighten the complexion”. Also, it was developed by a “respected Korean Master Monk”.
