    Rub Rub Rub Shower Gel

    Rub Rub Rub Shower Gel

I’m always interested in LUSH products but get completely overwhelmed when I go into a LUSH store. This is saying something. My sniffer has unbelievable stamina. But, it can’t make it… Continue reading | 5 Comments

  • Nuxe Tonific Exfoilation Soft-Skin Booster Body Scrub Review

    Date: 2010.06.29 | Category: body products | Response: 3

Nuxe Tonific Exfoilation is a fairly simple body scrub. It is packed with more fruits, nuts, and seeds than a trail mix. This scrub is packed with Amazonian plants and powders. It has things such as rice, bamboo, litchi, and walnut, and much more. It’s a gentle scrub with physical exfoilators from seeds and nuts. This scrub wasn’t too harsh on my skin. No redness was left behind. The scrub also faintly foams. I think this is a nice scrub for sensitive skin. It’s also gentle enough to not tear up… Continue reading | 3 Comments

  • L'Occitane Amande Pomme Almond Apple Sweet Peel Review

    Date: 2009.10.30 | Category: skincare | Response: 1

This Almond Apple Sweet Peel is a must have exfoliant for sensitive skin. I can use a scrub and be the color of a beet for hours. This is why I would only add a scrub to my nightly routine. I had to sleep off the inflammation. This product was recommended to me by a sweetie at a L’Occitane in downtown Seattle. I’m happy she talked me in to trying this.

After being showed this product, I had to smell it. I love the aroma. It smells like all the other products in the… Continue reading | 1 Comment

I am aware that writing a review of a skincare item is a bit of a waste of time. Skin types and needs vary so much from person to person. This scrub just did not work for me at all. I have normal skin. I do feel like my skin gets a bit “dull” so I use a scrub a few times a week. If I am using a foaming cleanser, I use my Shisiedo brush for exfoliation. One thing that I learned from doing makeup was that people that exfoliated… Continue reading | 2 Comments

  • Rachel Perry Peach & Papaya Gentle Facial Scrub Review

    Date: 2009.01.02 | Category: fragrance, skincare | Response: 0

I love Rachel Perry products because the whole gimmick is about fragrance: Color N’ Scents (Synergy). I’m a sucker for overly fragrant things. This product is so space cadety that it guarantees a giggle. You see the color selection of the packaging is meant to synergize with the fragrance of the product. This is supposed “harmonize together and communicate a revitalizing and purifying balancing message to the mind, body and all of the senses.” Um, OK. It also contains Nutraceuticals, even though my box claimed to have Nutaceuticals which cracked me up for … Continue reading
