Jo Malone London Wood Sage & Sea Salt Cologne Review

Jo Malone & London Wood Sage

Mainstream Monday – Sniffing a Popular Perfume

I rarely pay attention to Jo Malone London Launches mainly because they’re never what I want them to be and they perfumes themselves are too fleeting. We all have a brand (or brands) who’s aesthetic doesn’t really fit with ours. One of these brands for me is Jo Malone London. I think they’re perfectly fine but they don’t attract me. There are some exceptions in the brand but let’s just put it like this: I don’t own… Continue reading

Donna Karan DKNY Be Tempted Perfume Review

DKNY Be Tempted

When I recieved a sample of Be Tempted with a purchase, I  was going to throw it out. This is a flanker to DKNY’s Be Delicious, one of the few perfumes that gives me headaches. I thought I’d save myself from the need of sitting in a dark room for hours. For some reason, I kept it. And then for an even stranger reason, I sprayed it on my skin.

Be Tempted does smell like waxy, red Twizzlers. Like OMG, it’s so much Twizzlers.

Guerlain Mon Guerlain Perfume Review

Guerlain Mon Guerlain

Mainstream Monday: Sniffing a Popular Perfume

Mainstream Monday – Sniffing Popular Perfumes

I’m trying to spend some time this summer organizing and going through all my mess. I’m attempting to organize beauty stuff, which is not easy. I don’t have much space (oh, and I have too much stuff). I’m also trying to organize perfume samples (this is not easy because I still can’t figure out a system that makes sense). I thought I’d knock out a few Mainstream Monday: The Masculine Edition reviews. Today I’m sniffing two Hugo Boss scents from the 90’s:

Tory Burch Love Relentlessly Perfume Review

Tory Burch Love Relentlessly

To refresh your memory, I really was not a fan of the signature Tory Burch perfume. Looking back at my review, I guess I was unjustly harsh. But, that was how I felt at the time. I didn’t expect to like that fragrance because I’m not a fan at all of the Tory Burch aesthetic (even though there are plenty of people that successfully pull off this preppy, waspy, colorful 1970’s looks). When I received a sample of Love Relentlessly, I didn’t think I’d even try it… Continue reading | 12 Comments
