DSH Perfumes Three Kings Natural EDP Perfume Review
We Three Kings Perfume Blogging Project: Frankincense
Three Kings is a natural perfume by DSH Perfume’s Parfum des Beaux Arts. This is a limited edition holiday scent that I’ve really fallen for. Described as “nothing modern about this darkly textured and earthy perfume; it speaks to us Ancients“. Give me a moody, dark resinous woods fragrance and I’m bound to be pleased.
DSH’s Three Kings isn’t “Christmas” smelling like the name would apply. It’s a warm, woodsy fragrance… Continue reading | 18 Comments

This holiday season, luxury perfume brand Parfums des Beaux Arts by DSH has launched 5 limited edition solid perfumes for the 2010 holidays. NEW: Parfums des Beaux Arts by DSH Cuir et Champignon EDP
Parfums des Beaux Arts by DSH has recently launched Cuir et Champignon EDP (leather and mushroom), a limited edition perfume. From the notes listed, this sounds like my dream perfume. You guys know I love mushrooms and I’ve been searching for the perfect mushroom perfume. For many years, Dawn Spencer Hurwitz has been working on the concept of a mushroom perfume. I really don’t know why mushroom notes aren’t used more frequently in perfume, but anyways… I’m delighted that DSH’s concept is now… Continue reading | 1 Comment

Parfums des Beaux Arts by DSH Cimabue EDP Perfume Review
Dawn Spencer Horowitz’s Cimabue Italian Journey no. 8 is described as “Opulent. Enigmatic. Beguiling.” This is another winner from Perfumes DSH. I’ve got to stop falling in love with all of her creations! Cimabue is intoxicating without being overwhelming. This fragrance is described as an “oriental/gourmand”. It is absolutely delicious. It has what I want in a gourmand: spice, citrus, honey, and sweet vanilla. What can I say? I like spice and Dawn Spencer Hurwitz does spice well. I can not imagine my fragrance collection without Cimabue.
This fragrance is… Continue reading | 8 Comments

Parfums des Beaux Arts by DSH Bancha EDP Natural Perfume Review
Parfums des Beaux Arts by DSH Banacha is a 100% botanical, natural fragrance. I usually fall hard for botanical fragrances because they are typically very long-wearing but very close-wearing. Parfums des Beaux Arts by DSH Bancha is described as
” In alignment with nature, this refreshing fragrance eases us through transitional months, as signs of vitality begin to resurface all around. Bancha’s earthy-green notes are inspired by the fresh tones of the traditional Japanese tea of the same name and comprised of essences used in traditional ayurvedic healing, to
