Moresque Emiro

Moresque is one of those Europen perfume lines that finds inspiration in the Middle East or at least how they perceive Middle Eastern culture (or when I’m feeling cynical, I think of how they think they can sell Arab culture). I’ve tried a few from the line; they’re all good (you can decide if they’re worth the price). After trying them, Emiro is my favorite from the line.

R.I.P. Max Factor Cosmetics (Well, At Least in the U.S.)

So yep, it is so. P & G is phasing out Max Factor cosmetics (commonly sold at Wal-Mart and drugstore.com) starting in 2010 in the U.S. but they are going to continue selling it abroad.  Read about the details here. It’s kind of a bummer. Man, the economy sucks.

Max Factor recently went through that new “edgy” image change with the faces of Carmen Electra and Gisele. They began to offer bolder color choices, even if all the pigments didn’t always live up.
