Did you receive any smelly things/perfume as gifts over the holidays? If so, what? If not, is there anything you want to treat yourself to?
I didn’t really get any perfume but I did get two perfume-y items from my Vintage Beauty Gift Guide. Apparently David read that post and gave me the Chanel No. 5 Fragments d’Or and Malle Iris Hand Cream. The bottle of this is so much bigger than I expected (8.4 oz). It’s actually a very… Continue reading | 16 Comments
I am aware that by writing a review of a product with “balls” in the title that I will be receiving mega-spam from here to eternity. Thank you, spam filters! I should admit that I giggle like a big dorkus every time I say “amber balls” in my mind while typing. I’m trying to be a professional but let’s be real, it’s sort of funny. Feel free to make jokes about my smelly balls. See? One can’t resist! OK, wipe the grins off your faces and continue reading about L’Artisan’s Amber… Continue reading | 4 Comments
I’m taking some time off for the holidays. It isn’t as fun as it sounds. It’s mainly me catching up on things that should have been done months ago. I’m also cleaning/purging and well, just that overall “nesting” that should have happened before winter started.

That Lash Paradise Mascara is amazing! It makes me look like I have lashes (and I pretty much don’t in real life). I ran out of cleanser so I bought La Roche-Posay Hydrating Cleanser, which I really like (no fragrance, low… Continue reading | 8 Comments
I don’t think I know anyone that celebrates Valentine’s Day. Do you? I don’t mean to sound like a grump. It’s a weird holiday that I think only exists to sell stuff to regions that don’t really do Lunar New Year celebrations. Honestly, I only put together these gift guides because it gives me an excuse to talk about rose-scented things, champagne and other things that I like. I’m not here to diss things that give me joy. It’s winter. We need joy!
