One of my favorite genres of perfumes are those that bring to mind the sea. Many of us that lived through the 90’s have an aversion to the perfumes labeled “aquatics” that were usually in some blue bottle fronted by some topless ripped guy covered in water droplets. DSH Perfumes has launched a few perfumes for the holiday season. I usually give DSH perfumes their own review unless they are in a specific collection; however, I’m so behind on reviewing. Aura Radiant – Notes listed include grapefruit, goji berry and bergamot. Retails for $26.

Peace perfumes were to be meditative, incense perfumes. Love perfumes were to be sexy and animalic. And Perfume was an individualized take on a classic eau de cologne.
With so many desserts based oround the orange/chocolate theme, one would expect to see more gourmand perfumes centered around this duo. It seems like a “natural” pairing. Olympic Orchids California Chocolate is an orange and chocolate perfume, but it’s not like some chocolate bar flavored with orange. California Chocolate is like being outside on a sunny, mild day hiding under the shade of a blossoming orange tree, sharing a bar of chocolate with someone that you really like.
