L’Artisan Parfumeur Piment Brulant EDT Perfume Review
Who eats peppers everyday? Me. Who goes through more bottles of hot sauce, dried peppers, and powdered peppers in a month than most people do in a year? Me. Who wants to smell like a fresh, red sweet pepper? Me. I’m a Southern gal and I love my peppers. I swear, I skipped Gerber rice cereal and was given pureed jalapeños instead. I’m a pepper thrill seeker. And since I’ve been hooked on hot since childhood, nothing ever seems hot enough anymore…except for L’Artisan’s… Continue reading | 9 Comments

Garden Fresh: A Tomato Fragrance Guide
This has been the first year I’ve ever had a garden (first year as a homeowner too). I love having fresh herbs and I barely have to tend to them. Fresh herbs are a little luxury that I do not want to give up. So, far I have only had squash be successful, the other veggies are trailing way behind. Crazylibellule & The Poppies Les Garçonnes Tamara Charleston Review

Les Garçonnes Tamara Charleston is inspired by Tamara de Lempicka and her amazing paintings. I am so delighted that the dazzling Tamara was the inspiration for this fragrance. Dynamite! Clarins Eau Dynamisante Fragrance Spray Review
Clarins Eau Dynamisante is the kind of fragrance that nobody would purchase if they just sniffed it on a blotter card. It is the kind of fragrance that needs to be worn to really “develop” and to figure out if it works for you. It’s a unisex fragrance, so no Red Velvet cupcakes or honeysuckle blossoms here. It is citrusy and herbaceous and really lives up to its invigorating name. It kind of shocks the senses with a burst of lemon zest. Yes, the fragrance smells good enough to dip a… Continue reading | 2 Comments

Candied Violets: Borsari Violetta di Parma EDP Parfum Spray Review

I am a mega candied violet fan. I love the tastes of floral foods. I have a pack of Choward’s Violet Mints near me at all times.I love these little sweet and floral candies. They are so fragrant and really add fragrance to my office, purse, even my house. I love their smell. So I went searching for a fragrance just as sweet and delicate as these 1930′s confections.
Violets are a delicate and slightly “green” fragrance. Viola Odorata was what I was searching for. It… Continue reading | 3 Comments
