  Most of the time when I dislike a perfume, it is because of my high expectations. I expected to love CB I Hate Perfume Russian Caravan. The description and inspiration reeled me in. And what could go wrong with smoky black tea, refreshing bergamot and the nostalgic smell of books? Well, something went wrong. Russian Caravan Tea smells really horrible on me. • Garden Fresh: A Tomato Fragrance Guide

  This has been the first year I’ve ever had a garden (first year as a homeowner too). I love having fresh herbs and I barely have to tend to them. Fresh herbs are a little luxury that I do not want to give up. So, far I have only had squash be successful, the other veggies are trailing way behind. • Strawberry Patch: A Collection of Strawberry Based Scents

  I love strawberries but unfortunately I can’t eat them. I have an icky allergic reaction to them. I enjoy their scent when I can and will stand over and breathe them in at the market. Unfortunately fragrance technology hasn’t exactly mastered the scent of most fruits. Strawberry is one of those. It seems to smell synthetic (it is) and it smells a bit like a Jolly Rancher would taste (this makes sense because fragrance accord companies are also in the taste accord business).   I hate to be one of those people that say that they can’t smell something but I really can’t smell this. I mean I can smell it but just not for long. Which is a bummer because it is a nice figgy fragrance it just has the lasting power of a Demeter Cologne, which wouldn’t be bad if this had a Demeter price.
