February 2017 Lowbuy Update – I’m such a cheater. I ended up buying a “bundle” of Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipsticks which were Buy 3 for $45. I always gripe about liquid lipsticks but for some reason I wanted the new shades. The swatches were just too darn pretty. FYI – they have done something to the formula. I don’t think I know anyone that celebrates Valentine’s Day. Do you? I don’t mean to sound like a grump. It’s a weird holiday that I think only exists to sell stuff to regions that don’t really do Lunar New Year celebrations. Honestly, I only put together these gift guides because it gives me an excuse to talk about rose-scented things, champagne and other things that I like. I’m not here to diss things that give me joy. It’s winter. We need joy!

A friend of mine came in from Seattle to visit and we did the k-beauty tour of Manhattan and Queens. You better believe I bought some stuff. For me, I had some restraint. I bought some discontinued essences from Nature Republic. BesFren/MaskSheets had Leaders masks for a super deal (about $1 a piece) so I bought 20 sheets (2 boxes).
