EauMG’s 2012 Valentine’s Day Gift Guide
Shouldn’t I love a day filled with love, chocolate, champagne and lacy things? It’s one of the few things happening in gloomy February and it seems to be about the senses (*cough* among other things). However, I don’t love the holiday. I have a wonderful husband and access to champagne and chocolate every day of the year. I expect to be spoiled. But, this wasn’t always the case. Valentine’s Day was either a lonely day or a day that stressed me out because it had to be… Continue reading | 2 Comments

Thymes Agave Nectar Body Wash & Hand Lotion Review
Thymes is a personal and home fragrance line located in Minneapolis. For years, I’ve loved their home fragrances. After reading about Agave Nectar Bubble Bath in Allure’s Best of Beauty*, I knew it was time to try Thymes’ body line.
I’m not usually attracted to citrus fragrances so the description of Agave Nectar didn’t jump out at me. The scent itself does. Agave Nectar surprises me with how good it is. It’s a juicy ruby red grapefruit. It’s tart but not overly sulfuric… Continue reading | 2 Comments

EauMG’s Overview of Pacifica Perfumes
Today I’m talking about Pacifica perfumes. This line is located here in the Pacific Northwest and was founded by Brooke Harvey Taylor and her husband, Bill. The company website says that the line contains skin-safe ingredients and that the line is cruelty-free. There’s a huge focus on sustainability and “botanicals”. And really, that’s enough info for me. It answers most of my questions.

Villainess Blood and Jai Mahal Soap Reviews
It’s time for me to tell you that I love Villainess Soaps. They are highly fragrant, aesthetically pleasing, lather nicely and leave the skin lightly fragranced. I also love the packaging and the look of the entire line. Here’s my review of two of the more “boozy” scents:
Blood – “Merlot grounded in dry fig and inspired by a ripe bouquet of berries“. Blood is a fresh fig poached in tart red wine. It’s dark and mysterious. Blood isn’t overly “fruity”… Continue reading | 2 Comments

Patchouli Pits – LUSH Aromaco Natural Deodorant Review
I love the smell of this solid, natural deodorant.I love patchouli. Yes, even headshop, hippie patchouli. I’m a patchhead. I love earthy, woodsy fragrances. LUSH Aromaco Deodorant strongly smells of patchouli oil. And I think that is a great thing, some perfume peeps may find this disgusting. I’ll still be your friend even if you hate patchouli
But, you may not want to stand next to me. I’m going to… Continue reading | 8 Comments

- Illuminum White Datura reminds me of a fancy, expensive version of Avon SSS oil. This is a compliment.
- @klhood123 It's really good IMO. It's what I like in a rose. I also like the high-quality iris in the dry-down.
- @CM_Fragrance @whenyougethigh I missed it too.
- @whenyougethigh It was full and warm. I didn't hang around very long. It was nice to talk/mingle with everyone.
