One of the good things about moving to New Jersey, is that it’s one of the states that has Kiko Milano stores. Kiko Milano is an Italian cosmetics known for their wide range of colors and textures all with a rather affordable price tag (in comparison to other department store brands). Living so close to a mall with one of these shops is really testing my willpower!
CeraVe is one of my favorite skincare lines. In fact, it may be my favorite skincare line. Most of the products are gentle and the line is affordable. I’ve also had numerous dermatologists recommend that I use CeraVe products for every skin problem that I’ve ever had (dryness, eczema, acne). Since these products come recommended to me by people with much more skincare education than me AND that these products work for me when I use them, I trust this brand. Hey, want to smell like tom yum? Here you go!
Not Soap Radio I’m Not Here, I’m Really…Island Hopping is a creamy coconut with a heavy helping of lemongrass. The fragrance rests somewhere between tom yum soup without the spice and a really creamy colada without the piña. It’s coconut and lemongrass. Since it’s a solid perfume, it’s rather linear. However, the dry down is a creamy vanilla coconut that reminds me of a delicious island cocktail.

Pacifica Tahitian Gardenia isn’t the best gardenia perfume out there. But, hey, can you think of any other gardenia that retails for less than $10?
Pacifica Tahitian Gardenia is simple. It’s a surprisingly strong, heady white floral (jasmine/gardenia) with a leafy green crispness that gives a nice airiness. I mainly get jasmine/tuberose with this fragrance that could verge on mothballs. Tahitian Gardenia doesn’t wear very sweet on me.
