LUSH 1000 Kisses Deep EDP Natural Perfume Video Review
LUSH has relaunched a few fragrances. I know that 1000 Kisses Deep was once in the B Never Too Busy To Be Beautiful line. I did not smell it back then. I can’t say if the newly launched 1000 Kisses Deep is exactly the same as that from the past. I’m glad this fragrance is back. I love osmanthus and this is an osmanthus soliflore.
1000 Kisses Deep opens with the best darn orange that I’ve ever smelled in my life. It’s brilliant, shimmering with just the perfect amount of tartness. The florals blooms. It’s breathtaking. It’s almost like living honeysuckle with a fresh apricot. I smell this and I can’t help but to smile. It’s a heady floral, like a ylang-ylang osmanthus. It’s a sweet floral that puts a smile on my face. The dry-down is a balance of sweet florals with sweet ancient resins. The resins are warm and work wonderfully with the florals. It’s like feeling the sunshine, not something I feel very often this time of year in western Washington.
It’s funny that I love this one so. I usually dislike citrus and florals but I like this. It works for me. Go figure.
Notes listed include mandarin, osmanthus, labdanum, myrrh, and musk.
Give 1000 Kisses Deep a try if you love osmanthus or if you like sweet florals. Or if you like perfumes like Fresh Sake, Demeter Honeysuckle, Annick Goutal Le Chevrefeuille, By Kilian Love Don’t Be Shy, and/or Dior Diorella EDT. You don’t have to like naturals to like 1000 Kisses Deep. Surprisingly, this one is very well-balanced and can compete with the best of ‘em.
This fragrance has above average projection and it wears for about 7 hours on me. I find this long-wearing for a 100% natural perfume.
The 1 0z EDP retails for about $40. The .3 oz I have in the video retails for about $16. This scent is available at LUSH.
Victoria’s Final EauPINION – A glimmering osmanthus soliflore. I love wearing this. I highly recommend this for any osmanthus lover.
