    Esscentual Alchemy by Absinthe Dragonfly Orange Cream perfume is just what the name implies; it’s a well-crafted creamy orange perfume. Orange Cream is like if a really cool Portland based ice cream truck vamped up your favorite Orange Cream Pop. It’s better (and more natural) than anything that you’d get out of a “box”, but it is still comforting and nostalgic.

    Homemade Orange Creamsicle

    Immediately, I get vanilla and orange. It’s creamy and it does remind me of my favorite popsicle. I can tell that the orange is blood orange. Orange Cream isn’t all “orange”; it has some reddness. The “red” addition is like a raspberry rooibos tea. This is unexpected and very good for this orange/cream combo. It adds a subtle grassiness…and this adds to the summertime vibe of the scent. After 15 minutes, I pick up a light splash of orange blossom water with sweet cognac booziness.

    Orange Cream is simple, being that it’s mostly creaminess and citrus, but it smells good. This is a “feel good” fragrance. It’s like a really fancy Orange Cream Pop. Imagine an orange cream pop that has been infused with cognac, orange blossom water, and raspberry.

    Notes listed include vanilla, broom flower, white cognac, Peru balsam, black currant, jasmine, rose, orange blossom, tangerine, mimosa, blood orange, and rooibos. PERFUMER – Amanda Feeley

    Give Orange Cream a try if you have been searching for an orange creamsicle scent! Or if you like perfumes like By Kilian Sweet Redemption, Sarah Horowitz Parfums Perfect Vanilla, Smell Bent Sunshine, and/or TokyoMilk Age of Aquarius. I find this scent unisex – orange and vanilla. This perfume is 100% natural but you don’t have to be a fan of naturals to like this one. It’s a feel good scent.

    The perfume has average projection and longevity.
