  I love this look of Claudine Auger. You probably know her as a Bond girl. There is something so wearable and “girl next door” with this look. Here’s what I did to get this Claudine inspired look:

  I can’t look at this picture of Greer Garson without getting the urge to dye my hair red. I feel the hair is what made Greer rock the technicolors and made her famous.   I think this makeup looks so great with Angie Dickinson’s coloring. I love her hair color in this picture. This is a “soft” 1960′s look and it really works for her. And it can work today too. • 1930′s Fashion – Get the Makeup Look of Ida Lupino

  Ida Lupino was often referred to as “a model of modern feminist filmaking“. She often chose feminist acting roles (after a few budget “bad girl” roles) and in the early 50′s she was the first woman to direct a film-noir. She was also a writer and producer. My best guess is that this is a pic of Ida from the 1930′s.
