1960′s Fashion – Get the Makeup Look of Claudine Auger
I love this look of Claudine Auger. You probably know her as a Bond girl. There is something so wearable and “girl next door” with this look. Here’s what I did to get this Claudine inspired look:
FACE: I applied Guerlain Lingerie de Peau Foundation in Clair Beige. Under my eyes, I blended Neutrogena Healthy Skin Concealer in Fair. With the brush provided, I applied Lancôme Colour Ideal Pressed Powder in Medium 20. High on the apples… Continue reading | 6 Comments

1940′s Fashion: Get the Makeup Look of Greer Garson
I can’t look at this picture of Greer Garson without getting the urge to dye my hair red. I feel the hair is what made Greer rock the technicolors and made her famous. This look proves that redheads can wear bold orange lipstick. Here’s what I did to get a similar 1940′s Greer Garson makeup look:
FACE: With my fingers I applied Guerlain Lingerie de Peau Foundation in Beige Clair. With a concealer… Continue reading | 4 Comments

1960′s Fashion – Get the Makeup Look of Angie Dickinson
I think this makeup looks so great with Angie Dickinson’s coloring. I love her hair color in this picture. This is a “soft” 1960′s look and it really works for her. And it can work today too. It’s such a beautiful look that is all about a glowing complexion. Here’s what I did to get a similar look:
FACE: I applied Guerlain Lingerie de Peu in Claire Beige and blended with a makeup sponge. Under the eyes, I applied… Continue reading | 2 Comments

1930′s Fashion – Get the Makeup Look of Ida Lupino
Ida Lupino was often referred to as “a model of modern feminist filmaking“. She often chose feminist acting roles (after a few budget “bad girl” roles) and in the early 50′s she was the first woman to direct a film-noir. She was also a writer and producer. My best guess is that this is a pic of Ida from the 1930′s. She spent most of the 1930′s blonde but this photo has been colored and I think they did her hair in her natural brown… Continue reading | 6 Comments

1970′s Fashion – Get the Makeup Look of Jennifer O’Neill
Here’s a 1975 magazine cover of actress Jennifer O’Neill. She’s one of those people that if you see her today, she’s even more beautiful. I guess nine marriages keeps you looking youthful
Jennifer now resides in Nashville on a horse farm. Here’s what I did to get this mid-70′s look: FACE: With my fingers, I blended Guerlain Lingerie de Peau Foundation in Beige Clair. Under the eyes, I applied Covergirl Simply Ageless Concealer in Corrector. With the brush included… Continue reading | 5 Comments
