The Lipstick League – week of 1.12.15
Question of the Week: What’s your current favorite top coat and how long have you been using it for your manicures?
EauMG’s Answer: For the past few years, I’ve been using Sally Hansen Mega Shine Top Coat. It’s cheap and works well. I like that it’s glossy and quick drying. I prefer it over Seche Vite (which I found would “shrink” my polishes).

Question of the Week: What’s your beauty resolution for 2015?
EauMG’s Answer: I know they have a bad reputation, but I actually really like New Year’s resolutions. I usually have mine ready to go when the first hits, but this year, I’m procrastinating. Question of the Week: What beauty item would you consider an ideal hostess gift during the holidays?

Question of the Week: What is your favorite holiday lip look?
EauMG’s Answer: It depends as I’m rather fickle with these things. I’d say the obvious one, red. But, I also like really dark lip colors and sometimes I’ll go for the light brown/mauve lipsticks with too much eyeliner. This year, I’ve been craving glossy red lips and metallic eyeshadows. Or really dark purple lipstick and minimal eye makeup.

Question of the Week: So let’s hear it. Did you make any Black Friday/Cyber Monday beauty purchases? Spill the beans!
EauMG’s Answer: Well, it sure was tempting but I didn’t buy anything. Hard to believe, I know. There were plenty of great deals but I didn’t *need* anything so I didn’t buy anything. I’m trying to save up for a trip in the next few months. I’m amazed by my willpower at this time. What about you?
