Anthousa Home Ambiance Fragrance Home Collection Trio

Anthousa Home Collection TrioAnthousa “Home”  fragrance collection contains 3 petite Ambiance Fragrances for different rooms of the nest: kitchen, bath, and boudoir. I love the idea of different scents for different spaces. I know that I purchase different scents for different areas of my home. I usually want something fresh and citrusy for the kitchen, feminine floral for the boudoir, and something indulgent and sweet for the bedroom. This Home Collection trio includes:

Sweet Basil and Heirloom Tomatoes for the kitchen: Sweet Basil and Heirloom Tomatoes is what the name implies. I think of this as the “perfect” home scent. It’s herbaceous Italian basil with a dash of thyme, freshly cut and that amazing smell you can only get from a tomato plant/tomato greens/tomato leaves. This smells like a tomato plant and I love it. This is an amazing home fragrance for any area in the house. It’s so fresh and green. It smells of summer. I think this may be my favorite Anthousa home fragrance.

Mineral Waters for the bath: Mineral Waters is a clean and fresh scent. It smells like freshly laundered linens drying outside, being hit by the sun and breeze. Mineral Waters smells aquatic and mineral with notes of water lily and “iced ozone”. It’s also very fresh and reminds me of clean cotton and white musk. If you know me, you know I’m not crazy about aquatic or clean fragrances. But, I do want my house to smell fresh and clean. Mineral Waters is an “pure” fragrance. I may not want my body to smell this way, but my home can smell like this any day. Even as a surprise to myself, I really like Mineral Waters as a home fragrance. If you like scents like Aromatique Fresh Air Home Oil or Bath and Body Works Sea Island Cotton or Dancing Waters, then you will go nuts for Anthousa Mineral Waters.

Hycanith Jasmine and Mimosa for the boudoir: This is one of my favorite scents from Anthousa (yes, another one). This is a beautiful, flirty floral. This is the type of floral that I want my living space to smell like. It is fresh, green, and dewy. I didn’t know what to expect because of the fragrance title. I thought it would be overwhelming. It isn’t overwhelming. It is a delicate floral. I get the warmth and headiness of jasmine; however, the jasmine is really “tamed” by hyacinth, crisp/cool lilies, greenness from violets and grass. This scent is lovely: fresh and floral. It’s a “green” smelling “white” floral. Not only do I want my boudoir to smell of this floral, but I want my entire house too. It’s beautiful.

This is a nice set and it’s a nice way to introduce yourself to the Anthousa home fragrance line. I’ve sampled many of the Anthousa Home Ambiance fragrances and these are a few of my favorites. You get a little of everything from this hand-picked collection. The downside to this set: It really doesn’t work for small spaces. Three home fragrances in a small living space can be a bit of a sensory overload. I think this set works wonderfully for multi-story homes. OR you can save $35 by purchasing this kit and using one at a time in your smaller living space. Despite their variety, I really like the fragrance of all of these Home Ambiance fragrances. Each one of them smell the way I want my home to smell: fresh.

This trio retails for $85 ($120 if purchased separately) and is available on Anthousa’s online boutique and Candles Off Main. This Gift Set contains 3 demi bottles of Home Ambiance fragrance. Each of these should last about 3 months (about $9 a month).

  1. I LOVE the Anthousa Sweet Basil & Heirloom Tomato diffuser! Love it! Such a fresh scent. I usually don’t like tomato fragrances but the tomato in this isn’t too strong, and as you mentioned, it’s more the greens of a tomato plant than the fruit. The basil is stunning! Perfect kitchen scent. It’s gorgeous in the large size. Lovely packaging.

    1. It is more of a green scent, so fresh (not tomato acidic). It’s a wonderful fragrance for the home. The packaging of all of the Anthousa products are beautiful. And really when you break it down to cost per day, then it’s a good price. People spend $6+ on Glade plug-ins and those in my experience last less than a month.
